Ashley Moses is a Memphis native who gained her inspiration to become an educator from her 1 st grade
elementary school teacher. Ashley graduated from Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi with
a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education K-6. Upon graduation from Jackson State University Ashley
returned to her childhood neighborhood and elementary school as a teacher. As a teacher she served as
grade chair, a mentor teacher to new and novice teachers, and district liaison. After some time of
serving and assisting other teachers, she developed another passion and went back to school to receive
a master’s degree in Teacher Leadership from the University of Phoenix. Ashley is currently a student at
Walden University in pursuit of a doctoral degree in Early Childhood Education, birth to age 8, as a
means to develop a deeper understanding of child development. Ashley is passionate about education
and upholds the belief that all students are capable of reaching their full potential with the proper
support system. Ashley is excited to join the PCAES team and looks forward to serving the families of the
Hickory Hill community.
