Tonya Randall is a native of Decatur, Georgia, and she has 13 years of education experience. Tonya started her career through Teach for America in 2003. Her first placement was at Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta teaching 9th grade Algebra 1. She then transitioned to KIPP South Fulton Academy (7th & 8th grade Math Teacher, Dean of Students, and Upper School Director) and then KIPP Vision Academy (Lower School Dean). As a Ryan Fellow, she was placed at Power Center Academy Middle School as the Resident Principal. She is excited to serve this year as the Founding Principal of Nexus STEM Academy.
